1. Personal data and purposes
When using the “Moet ik naar de dokter?” app via our website, a third party website or on your smartphone, you enter specific personal data and submit it. We deal with these data with care and in accordance with the law. The app uses a UID (Unique Identifier), so not all the data entered are personal data.
When using the app, enter personal data about yourself or about another person for whom you are using the app and you will be given a decision. The personal data received from you via this service and that we process are:
- Date of birth
- Result of any triage done (urgency)
- The four digits of your postcode (only with your consent)
The data entered are required initially to be able to answer the question ‘Do I have to go to the doctor?’ Your sex and date of birth are processed by the back end of the app in anonymised form for the analysis of the use of our app. We can then ensure that in the future the app will work even better and we can generate anonymous statistics. Your IP address is processed in anonymised form by the web server into a session number. As a result, your personal data are not traceable.
Your location is stored only on the device on which you are using the app and if you use the link with a map application (such as Google Maps) so as to immediately obtain directions to the out of hours doctors’ surgery. These data are not stored by us but by the provider of the map application. We advise you to read the attached privacy statement carefully.
Once you have gone through the questions, you may be asked to enter the four digits of your postcode. “Moet ik naar de dokter?” conducts its post-market surveys and (scientific) research in collaboration with health organisations. This means that “Moet ik naar de dokter?” (in collaboration with health organisations) monitors and improves the app’s security and services. With this, it is possible to determine under which health organisation, for instance an out of hours doctors’ surgery, you fall. Your postcode is only logged if you give explicit consent to this.
You can contact us by sending us an email (via the contact form under “Contact” in the website’s menu), sending a message via the mobile app or by getting in touch with us via our contact details. s the personal data that you pass to us to answer your question. With this, MINDD implements the agreement that you make with us. We retain your contact details and your enquiry for two years from the date of our last contact with you so that we can respond appropriately to any follow-up questions.
Please note: If you have any questions about the result of the triage via the app or about whether or not you have to go to the doctor, you must contact your GP or the out of hours doctors’ surgery. So you can only report any incorrect or incomplete data to us and then you can ask for technical support. If you give feedback about the app, do not include any medical details relating to yourself.
You can subscribe to the newsletter via our website. We will then send you a maximum of one email per month in which we inform you about developments relating to the app and the “Moet ik naar de dokter?” company. We will maintain your subscription until you withdraw your consent. You can do this by clicking on the link in the newsletter or by contacting us.
We invite you to leave feedback for us. If you accept this invitation, we will use your feedback, in combination with your sex and date of birth, to improve our service. We retain your feedback for two years after you submitted it. If you give feedback about the app, do not include any medical details relating to yourself.
